AUGUST HOMELESS OUTREACH RECAP | Our Aug. 5 outreach to those living in and around Wildwood Park found us ministering one-on-one to about a dozen people. The turnout was lower because we were there earlier than usual (park residents are accustomed to our “church services” being at 11:30 or noon).

The time change was necessary so we could get back up the mountain in time for Tony to preach and lead worship at the Food Ministry outreach at Jubilee. web_180px_Agu2017

We apologize that there are so few photos this time, but we were without volunteers Aug. 5, and so had to wear many hats. We still did worship and Tony preached, while Koren prayed with as many people as possible.

We were also blessed to provide the park residents with hygiene kits, food cards, new socks, devotionals, water, flip-flops, backpacks and blankets. Thanks to a donation from Rim Park District, we were also able to distribute bags of prepackaged food (canned chicken salad, chips and more).

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray and support this ministry.

Blessings,

Tony and Koren
