MARCH PRISON MINISTRY RECAP | Resurrection Sunday at Pilot Rock Conservation (Prison) Camp proved both a celebration of our Lord’s redeeming work and our return to the Rock.
We were blessed with such good weather that the guards let us set up on the lawn and we held services under the open sky. Six men joined us for “church at the Rock,” while several looked on from the bunkhouse.
Our dear brother-in-Christ and pastor Jason Lewallen of Selah Christian Fellowship joined us and shared a brief testimony with the men. He and Tony tag-teamed the message. Together they presented Who Jesus was and is and the relationship and redemption He offers us—no matter what circumstances we’ve come out of or are currently under.
Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will obey My commandments.” (John 14:15)
Obedience doesn’t produce love. Rather, LOVE produces obedience.

The men received Bibles, Daily Bread devotionals, Christian music CDs and a special gift: His Footsteps, My Pathway, a faux-leather-bound 400-page book of one-minute devotions.
We also partook of Communion, prayer and fellowship. All in all, it was a blessed time and the men look forward to our next visit. Please keep them and all the men at Pilot Rock (and their families) in your prayers. And, pray with us, that the Lord will grow His church there and bring about salvation for all in the camp—both the guards and the incarcerated men.
If you have any Christian music CDs and/or Christian books and devotionals that you can donate, please [contact us].
Thank you to the Gideons Lake Arrowhead Camp for their generous support of this ministry. Thank you also to those who pray and support this ministry.
Blessings,
Tony and Koren
