MARCH HOMELESS OUTREACH RECAP |Our street team ministered March 11 to about a dozen souls living in and around Wildwood Park in San Bernardino, California.
We held a short “church” service in the park and prayed with several park residents. We also noted a decided shift in the park populace. What once was a tight-knit community that worked together despite the challenges of experiencing homelessness, has become a divided group due to an influx of newcomers. The new park residents opted to stay at a distance and not participate in anything that has to do with church or Jesus.
We prayed with those willing to receive prayer and did our best to offer love and hope–especially the hope we have in Jesus Christ. We also distributed much-needed water, hygiene kits, jeans, blankets, jackets and bibles.
Please keep ALL of these people in prayer. No matter what choices or circumstances may have led to them living in homelessness, their day-to-day reality is harsh and often filled with despair.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
Blessings to you all,
Tony
