YOUR HELP NEEDED FOR MAY OUTREACHES | My deepest gratitude goes out to all of our faithful prayer warriors, volunteers and supporters. Thanks to you, we are able to continue to offer hope and help to men and women on the street and in prison.
May the Lord richly bless you for your compassionate hearts!
As you plan your schedule and budget for the month of May, please prayerfully consider donating to or volunteering for one of our two May outreaches:
Homeless Outreach, May 17
The next Street People Homeless Outreach will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in San Bernardino. Volunteers and donations—$5 food cards (McDonald’s or Del Taco), men’s crew socks and hygiene items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and washcloths—are needed.
Pilot Rock Prison Outreach, May 18
Our prison outreach team will visit Pilot Rock Prison Camp from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18. The team will bring a worship service, prayer, devotionals and encouragement to the inmates, many of whom have become followers of Christ. Please pray for this ministry and the men at Pilot Rock, and, if able, please donate devotionals and Bibles for these men, who are hungry for the Word of God.
These outreaches are made possible by the grace of our Lord, the generous support of our partners–including Crestline First Baptist and other mountain-area churches, the Gideon Lake Arrowhead Camp and Trust One Components–and our faithful volunteers.
