JUNE OUTREACHES RECAP | We held two outreaches in the month of June, bringing the Word of God and practical help to people experiencing homelessness, individuals struggling with great financial needs and men incarcerated at a local prison camp.

June 14 Homeless Outreach

We had church on the street with live worship and praise and a relevant message about our “Abba” Father in preparation for Father’s Day. We prayed with many of the people and collected prayer requests to share with our prayer warriors and extended church family.

More than 30 people attended the outreach. We distributed 25 hygiene kits, 32 food cards, 10 Gideon Bibles, bottled water and multiple bags of clothing.

Thank you to volunteers Paul, Judy, Christine, Russ, Koren, Josh and Dessa for all your hard work. Thanks also to Crestline First Baptist Church, mountain-area churches, Gideon Lake Arrowhead Camp and Trust One Components for supporting this ministry.

Father’s Day Prison Outreach
We brought a church service and message Father’s Day to the men at Pilot Rock Prison Camp.

About a dozen men are attending regularly, and they ask for prayer that the Lord will draw more members of the camp into the fellowship. There is a great hunger for the Word of God and the men eagerly sought the Bibles and devotionals we brought.

We delivered 20 Gideon pocket bibles—many given to men who were unable to attend service, but who stopped by to request devotionals and Bibles. We also gave them a large box of various packaged chips, thanks to Rita and the Gideon Women’s Auxiliary.

Please continue to pray for the men at Pilot Rock and for the Lord’s guidance and blessing upon this ministry.
